Double Wall Fabric
Airgym airtracks are built using a material that revolutionized the gymnastic world. It is produced in Germany and invented by our supplier Heytex GMBH. This material consists of a three-dimensional woven structure with two basic fabric layers that are linked together by strong threads. All the threads have the same dimension so actually they give the maximum distance between the layers and with that, the height of the final product.
The space between the threads can be filled with different elements like: air, water or sand which have the role of adding shape to the structure. Once the filling elements are in place you will obtain a strong solid surface. For Airgym airtracks the structure is filled with air, of course. The pressure inside can be regulated and with this we obtain different bouncing levels.
Respect for the environment
Together with our partners we pay a great respect to the environment. Our raw materials from which the Airgym products are made are REACH compliant. The adhesives that we use respect the Chemical European norms. In the end we make sure that our final product is environmental friendly and safe to be used by children and atheles.
REACH
REACH it is a European Regulation (No 1907/2006) concerning chemicals and their safe use. Its acronym stands for:
Registration - Companies need to collect, collate and submit data to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on the hazardous properties of all substances (except Polymers and non-isolated intermediates) manufactured or imported into the EU
Evaluation - The relevant authorities perform substance evaluation when there is a reason to suspect that a substance presents a risk to human health or the environment
Authorization - The REACH proposal sets up a system under which the use of substances with properties of very high concern and their placing on the market can be made subject to an authorisation requirement.
Chemicals - Restrictions may limit or ban the manufacturer placing on the market or use of a substance.
Our products vs. Far East
Compared to Far East products our products do not contain dangerous phthalates that can harm the healh ot the users.
AG Industries products
DNP Phthalates in the AG industries products are only 1% which is in the normal value accepted by the REACH regulations.
Far East products
DNP Phthalates in the Far East products are 120% above the limit set of by the REACH regulations.
